Do you charge fixed price or day rate?

Both, depending on how well-defined the work is. Clear, scoped projects get a fixed price agreed up front. Ongoing or evolving work is billed at a day rate, invoiced monthly, with no surprise line items.

What size of project do you take on?

Anything from a two-week technical review to a system that takes several months to build. We turn down work that's too large for a small senior team to do properly rather than staff up with people you haven't met.

Question 3

Do you work with businesses outside London and Essex?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Most of our clients are in London and Essex because that's where we're based, but the work itself is almost always remote. We'll visit in person when it's useful, not by default.

Can you take over a project someone else started?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. We start with a short paid review of the existing codebase and decisions made so far, then tell you honestly whether it's worth continuing, rebuilding parts, or starting again.

What happens after launch — do you maintain what you build?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you want us to. Most clients keep us on a day-rate retainer for fixes, small changes and monitoring. You're never required to sign up for ongoing support to get the initial build.

How quickly can you start?
